About the Artist

Alexa Sharpe is a Los Angeles-based freelance illustrator specializing in books and comics. She is a Ryman Arts alumni and a graduate of Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA).

 

 

Much of her work seeks to walk the line between wonderment and terror. Her art and narratives--of spirits, witches, and all manner of strange occurrences--are a study in historical horror and deadly decadence. She also draws influence from her Filipino heritage, which afforded her a childhood steeped in superstition- and a fondness of any and all ghost stories.
